📢 What is this place?

Hi! I'm huey =), and this is my little corner of the information superhighway. Back in the day, every page worth its salt had a starfield background, a hit counter, and at least one thing that blinked. Browsers took all of that away from us, not because it was dangerous, but because it was too much fun.

This page is my act of remembrance. It is a card-carrying member of the Dead HTML Tag Society, and our adopted patron tag is the dearly departed <applet>, the tag that once promised us spinning 3D logos, lake ripple effects, and landed me my first web gig building out mortgage calculator applets!
